Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I recently visited Gordon Ramsay Street Burger - Edinburgh and had a fantastic experience. The burger made by Basil was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavour. You could really taste the quality in every bite. The milkshake prepared by Yessy was just as impressive — creamy, well-blended, and the perfect complement to the burger. On top of the great food, the customer service was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a place I’d recommend!"
"There are mixed reviews on here, but to me, taste wise, the OGR Burger is easily a top 3 Burger I have ever eaten. It is on the smaller size, but when combined with fries and a beer, just enough for a dinner serving. The restaurant also has a free arcade for kids and immature adults such as myself to play and it was genuinely a good visit for us. It is a little on the expensive side, but most of the restaurants are priced the same in the nearby vicinity. I would say it’s a worth a visit if you’re hungry and looking for a tasty burger that doesn’t taste like fast food."
"If you're craving mouthwatering burgers and fall-off-the-bone ribs, this place is a total gem! The food was absolutely delicious – juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The ribs were tender and packed with smoky goodness, while the burgers were loaded and satisfying. What really stood out, aside from the amazing food, was the super fast service and genuinely friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality street food with great vibes and quick, efficient service. I’ll definitely be coming back!"
"I had dinner and order next level burger was good light. They also can do most of the burgers gluten-free. Staff are very friendly and adjusted the food to provide good experience"
"We ordered tandoori paneer and sweet potato fries. It was delicious but I think the sweet potatoes should have been cut a little larger. Some of them were burnt because they were so thin. But overall, I liked it."
"We ordered the “Menage a trois” burger and a half-rack BBQ rib. The burger was okay but the rib was not that impressive, to me just a normal rack of rib with Heinz BBQ sauce you could buy at any supermarket. The fries were tasty though. When it comes to billing, we were surprised to be charged with a 12.5% tip that waitress did not inform us about. We would have tipped anyway but don’t you think it would be better to inform the clients? We only noticed it as a small line on the bill after we had paid. So don’t be like us and check your bill."
"We visited Gordon Ramsay Street Burger with naturally high expectations. The prices are on the higher side—not outrageous, but definitely expensive for what is offered. The atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable, and we did like the overall setting. The food itself was fine, but nothing particularly special or memorable. We enjoyed the meal, though it wasn’t surprising or impressive enough to make us want to return anytime soon. The main disappointment was the service. Despite the restaurant being quite quiet during our visit, the staff seemed more focused on preparing for upcoming reservations than attending to customers who were already there. Customers had to wait a long time to get the attention of the floor staff and eventually had to approach them for simple things like ketchup or mayonnaise. The staff were really nice and friendly though. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience and we enjoyed it, but it does feel a bit overpriced when you consider both the food quality and the level of service."
"The food was great, the staff was great, the ambiance was gorgeous and very comfortable. The new Roquefort Burger was awesome! The Sticky Toffee Pudding was the BEST DESSERT EVER!!! A huge applause for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Other than that, the temperature was very very warm and the bathrooms were messy with the trashcans overflowing and unclean. Overall, would definitely go back since the food was so good and literally had the best dessert of my life. ps: Forgot to take a picture of them but those were also one of the best onion rings of my life!"
